Sr Financial Analyst

To support theDresden Subsidy Team we are seeking aSr Financial Analystbased in Sofia/Bulgaria.This role is an integral part of our internationalFinance organization providing analytical and operational support forpublic funded projects.The position focuses on supporting the Dresden-based team in all activities with a strong focus on data preparation reporting and financial analysis.You will collaborate closely withthe Dresden Team and othercross-functional departmentsin multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation processing and validation of financial and project-related data for subsidy management

• Responsibility fordatapreparationforcash requestsfor certain cost categories

• Supportof accounting tasks related to monthly quarterly and annual financial statements for funded projects

• Preparation of internalclose reportingand analyses for the Dresden Subsidies Team

• Support in the preparation of audit documentation and internal controls

• Contribution to continuous improvement of reporting processes and data structures

• Close collaboration with the Dresden team and other cross-functional departments

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a comparable field

• Experience in finance accounting controlling or data analysis

• Strong analytical mindset and high attention to detail

• Fluent German (written and spoken) is; strong English communication skills are also expected

• Ability to work independently while being closely aligned with an international team

• Broad experience with MS Office applications especially Excel

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced global environment

• Effective interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate constructively across teams and regions
