The Marketing Platforms area inside our Growth Platforms BU is responsible for enabling Nubanks growth engine across owned and paid channels.

This includes our public websites (BR MX CO and future markets) the Audience Manager platform (how we build govern and activate audiences for campaigns and experiments) and Campaign Manager / orchestration capabilities that connect messages audiences and channels into coherent customer journeys at scale.

As a Staff Software Engineer Marketing Platforms you will be a senior technical leader working across this ecosystem: defining architecture and technical direction ensuring that Audience Manager Website Platform and Campaign Manager evolve as a cohesive platform and directly influencing how Nubank acquires engages and retains customers across countries.

Youll be responsible for

  • Designing and evolving large-scale data-intensive marketing platforms in domains such as martech experimentation audience/identity and web platforms operating across multiple channels and markets.
  • Working end-to-end across the Marketing Platforms stack partnering with Audience Manager Website Platform and Campaign Manager squads to define technical direction shape roadmaps and ensure these platforms work together as a cohesive ecosystem.
  • Translating growth and brand strategy into platform architecture turning audience campaign and website needs into clear architectural choices and explicit trade-offs with a long-term view.
  • Providing strong technical leadership: setting architectural direction leading design reviews evolving engineering standards and mentoring engineers and tech leads across multiple squads.
  • Helping teams design systems that are observable debuggable and experimentation-friendly supporting data-driven decision making in how we run campaigns and optimize journeys.
  • Navigating complex stakeholder landscapes collaborating with Product Data Design Marketing and other platform teams to align priorities manage dependencies and keep interfaces between systems healthy over time.
  • Operating in high-visibility cross-impact areas where platform decisions directly affect Nubanks growth brand presence and audience activation across BR MX CO and future geos.
  • Framing ambiguous problems into clear options and driving alignment through well-structured communication (technical docs RFCs design sessions and presentations).

We are looking for a person who has

Required

  • Solid experience as a Staff-level engineerdesigning and evolving large-scale data-intensive platforms ideally in marketing technology experimentation audience/identity or web platforms.
  • Ability to work end-to-end across a multi-product stack partnering with several squads to make sure platforms interoperate as a coherent ecosystem.
  • Proven track record connecting product strategy and platform design turning growth and brand objectives into concrete architectural choices for audiences campaign orchestration and website capabilities.
  • Strong technical leadership skills: setting architectural direction driving design reviews evolving engineering standards and mentoring senior engineers and tech leaders.
  • Experience with experimentation and data-driven decision making and with designing systems that are observable instrumented and easy to reason about.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments collaborating with Product Data Design Marketing and other platform teams to align priorities and manage dependencies.
  • Comfort operating in high-visibility cross-impact domains where platform decisions have direct effect on growth and brand outcomes.
  • High tolerance for ambiguity with the ability to frame complex problems into clear options and drive alignment through structured written and verbal communication.

Nice to have

  • Background in growth martech or CRM platforms.
  • Experience in multi-country or multi-brand environments.
  • Previous work on customer data platforms journey orchestration or experimentation platforms.
