Admissions Associate

At Avenues the admissions process is the first step in building a deep lifelong partnership with our families.  We are seeking an Admissions Associate to be part of our dynamic highly collaborative admissions team playing a crucial role welcoming and managing the entire Primary Division student enrollment lifecycle serving as the bridge between prospective families and Avenues. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

1. Mission Aligned Community Building

• Convey the unique value of an Avenues education in nuanced accurate and compelling ways that are thoughtfully tailored to each familys unique interests and aspirations.

• Ensure that admitted students and families are well-matched with Avenues by understanding applicants deeply and guiding them with empathy through the entire process.

• Build a special diverse community of families and children who are invested in Avenues and energized by being part of an innovative educational ecosystem.

• Make every family feel genuinely cared for valued and respected throughout their experience navigating even the most sensitive admissions conversations with grace.

2. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategy

• Partner closely with our Data Analyst and the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management to monitor the admissions funnel track key metrics and identify trends that inform enrollment strategy.

• Collaborate with Marketing and Communications teams to ensure consistent aligned and family-centered messaging across all touchpoints including event communications outreach materials and marketing content.

• Serve as the main liaison for the Primary Division academic teams during the new student transition process ensuring smooth operational handovers clear communication and thoughtful support for student onboarding and adaptation.

3. Student Leadership Engagement

• Co-lead the Grade 5 Junior Ambassador Program  with energy and purpose mentoring and supporting young student leaders as they represent and strengthen the Avenues community.

Qualifications :

ABOUT YOU

• You are able to communicate clearly warmly and professionally in both Portuguese and English across both verbal and written channels

• 7 years of professional experience preferably in a school or other educational setting

• Bachelors degree in Education Psychology Business Administration Communication or a related field

• You are energized by Avenues mission and opportunity for impact in education

• Technologically confident and adaptable with the ability and willingness to quickly learn new systems CRMs spreadsheets and digital tools in an innovative fast-paced environment.

• Confident presenting at parent events

• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and able to manage a multifaceted admissions process 

• Technologically confident and adaptable with the ability and willingness to quickly learn new systems CRMs spreadsheets and digital tools in an innovative fast-paced environment.

• Skilled at building strong relationships with families and partner organization

• You are a natural connector who listens deeply radiates warmth and can bridge cultural and professional gaps to inspire trust across our diverse community of families faculty and staff.
