Job Summary

Problem
Our current atlas product detects drive slip using an array of sensors these need to be set up and calibrated well. The system cost is relatively high and has no alternative applications.

Main issues
- High system cost
- Medium system robustness
- Ad hoc developed concept offers room for improvement

Solution idea
An elegant solution could be to use 1 (or more) low cost IMU sensors detecting the shuttle acceleration in different directions therefore detecting if a certain acceleration is not met or if a certain speed is not maintained. Alternatively these IMUs may be used for alternative features measuring shocks and vibrations of the shuttle and its subcomponents. The object is to develop a working proof of concept communicating connected to our Movu On board Controller.
