Role Overview

The Mechanical Piping Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing piping installation works on site ensuring all activities are delivered safely on schedule and to the highest quality standards. This role involves coordination with multiple trades subcontractor management and maintaining strict compliance with project and HSE requirements.

• Coordinate and supervise all piping activities on site alongside other trades
• Lead daily whiteboard meetings and deliver weekly toolbox talks
• Prepare and submit weekly progress reports to the line manager
• Ensure labour resources are effectively planned and aligned with project schedules
• Maintain high standards of workmanship quality and productivity
• Supervise subcontractors to ensure efficiency and compliance with project requirements
• Monitor and report variations delays and risks to the Construction Manager (CM) and Project Manager (PM)
• Verify all materials and plant on site meet project specifications
• Ensure safe handling storage and coordination of delivered materials
• Confirm all subcontractor plant and equipment is certified and fit for use
• Enforce strict Health & Safety standards and promote a strong safety culture on site
• Identify and implement improvements to working practices to enhance safety and efficiency
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across all work areas
• Previous experience in a Mechanical Piping Supervisor role
• Pharma project experience is highly advantageous
• Strong ability to read and interpret isometric drawings
• Good knowledge of piping installation testing and QA/QC requirements
• Excellent organisational communication and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Essential: Experience using Navisworks 3D model
