Job Purpose and Impact
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the safe efficient and reliable execution of production activities during your shift. You will provide leadership to a team of operators while driving a strong culture of safety operational excellence quality and continuous the operational leader on shift you will play a key role in maintaining production performance supporting employee development and ensuring compliance with all safety quality and environmental standards.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead and supervise a team of process operators within the refinery.
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture ensuring full compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate daily production activities to achieve operational targets related to safety quality throughput and efficiency.
- Monitor process performance and respond to operational deviations in a timely and effective manner.
- Support troubleshooting efforts and make operational decisions to maintain plant reliability and performance.
- Coach develop and engage team members to build capability and foster a high-performing work environment.
- Ensure effective shift handovers and accurate reporting of operational activities and key performance indicators.
- Collaborate closely with Maintenance Quality Engineering and Supply Chain teams.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety reliability productivity and cost optimization.
- Act as the primary point of contact and decision-maker for operational matters during the shift.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Languages: Dutch & English
- Ability and willingness to work in a continuous shift schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
- Several years of experience in a manufacturing or process industry environment.
