Join us as a Youth Events Officer and play a key role increating engaging inclusive and meaningful experiences for youngpeople aged 1125. Based at our HQ in Leederville youll help planand deliver a diverse range of music arts recreation andcommunity events that connect young people and create positiveopportunities for participation and engagement. Were seeking anenthusiastic Youth Events Officer to join us a fixed term part timecontract till July 2027 with the possibility ofextension.

• Youll be earning $91065 - $97987 per annum 12% super (pro rata)

What youll be doing

As a Youth Events Officer youll lead the planningand delivery of music and community events managing bookingsliaising with artists bands and industry partners coordinatingevent logistics promotion and staff rosters. Youll also overseethe GigSpace HQ in Leederville and ensure events are deliveredsafely and effectively. Alongside this youll mentor young peoplehelping them build event management skills and ensuring their ideasand voices shape the events and activities delivered.

Youll be great in this role if you

• Have experience creating coordinating and delivering youth-focused events
• Have a relevant qualification in events management or music or a related discipline.
• Are confident engaging and communicating with young people community stakeholders and industry partners
• Have excellent organisation time management communication and interpersonal skills
• Are comfortable working outside normal hours including evenings and weekends
• Hold a current C Class Drivers Licence and National Police Clearance with a current/ willing to obtain Working with Children Check required.
