Job Summary

Start Date: Monday 18th January 2027

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the assembly and disassembly of heavy equipment components.
  • Support the inspection cleaning assessment and remanufacture of components to required specifications and quality standards.
  • Follow established operating maintenance and safe work procedures at all times.
  • Operate workshop plant and equipment in line with training and competency levels.
  • Complete required trade training maintain training records and actively participate in on-the-job learning.
  • Contribute to a safe clean and efficient work environment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Experience:
  • Enrolled in or committed to completing a Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical).
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills with the ability to follow instructions and complete documentation accurately.
  • Interest in mechanical equipment and a willingness to learn the use of hand tools and workshop practices.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work safely within a team environment and follow workplace procedures.
  • Demonstrated commitment to learning professional development and completing formal trade training.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with a positive and proactive attitude.
