Job Summary

You will learn to servicemaintainand support a wide range of industry-leading earthmoving equipment used across construction infrastructure and civil projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist qualified technicians with the inspection maintenance repair and overhaul of heavy equipment and machinery.
  • Learn to diagnose mechanical pneumatic and basic electrical faults while developing strong technical skills.
  • Safely operate workshop tools equipment and lifting devices while maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
  • Successfully complete your apprenticeship training attend required trade school and maintain training records.
  • Work across different service areas and participate in on-the-job training to build broad industry experience.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety quality teamwork and continuous improvement in everything you do.
Skills & Experience:
  • Enrolled in or committed to completing a Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology.
  • A genuine interest in mechanical equipment heavy machinery and developing a long-term trade career.
  • Strong literacy numeracy and basic computer skills with the ability to complete training and workplace documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to safely use hand tools and follow workplace safety procedures.
  • Willingness to learn new technical skills through structured training on-the-job experience and trade school attendance.
  • Reliable motivated and team-oriented with a positive attitude and commitment to personal and professional development.
