About Starick

Starick is a not-for-profit organisation operating primarily in the Perth Metropolitan South-East Corridor. Starick supports women children and young people experiencing and escaping family and domestic violence across the continuum of prevention early intervention crisis and healing.

About the Role

Starick is seekingpassionate and experienced (minimum 1 year case-management) people to join theteam working within crisis accommodation for the following:

Sleepover Womens Advocate Saturdays Sundays Mondays Tuesdays Wednesdays 7:00pm 8:00am (with 8 hours being inactive/sleepover)

Casual/Relief Pool Womens Advocate including day shifts afternoon shifts weekend shifts and sleepover shifts

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide crisis support safety planning and case management for women experiencing family and domestic violence.
  • Undertake risk assessments and co-develop personalised safety and support plans.
  • Support women to achieve their goals including transitioning to safe and sustainable housing.
  • Deliver and facilitate programs that support wellbeing recovery and independence.
  • Advocate for clients and connect them with appropriate community housing and support services.
  • Maintain accurate case notes reports and client records in line with organisational requirements.
  • Contribute to a collaborative client-centred and trauma-informed team environment.

About you

  • You are passionate about supporting women and children impacted by family and domesticviolence.
  • You bring experience in crisis support case management or community services.
  • You have a strong understanding of trauma-informed and client-centred practice.
  • You communicate effectively and build trusting respectful relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • You are organised adaptable and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-pacedenvironment.
  • You value teamwork reflective practice and continuous learning.
