About the role:
Rockmount is recruiting on behalf of a manufacturing business in Newcastle for a Boilermaker to join them for a 3-month contract starting first or second week of September. This is a Labour Hire placement through Rockmount solid well-paid work with a clear start and end date no mucking about.
What youll be doing:
Fabrication and installation work on site
Set-out for fabrication jobs
Oxy cutting
Drilling with a mag drill
Welding including work requiring magnetic particle testing
What youll need:
Boilermaker/Welding trade qualification (or equivalent years of proven experience)
White Card
Boom Lift ticket
Valid Drivers Licence

Required Skills:
Trade-qualification (Mechanical/Plumbing/Electrical) Holds a White Card Confined Spaces ticket (or willing to obtain) Working at Heights ticket (or willing to obtain) At least 1 year post-trade experience working in the pump industry or some exposure to pumps Experience working on water treatment jobs highly regarded MR licence highly regarded On-the-job training provided for candidates with lighter pump experience
