At Water Corporation we deliver essential water wastewater and drainage services to communities across Western Australia. We are seeking a capable and motivated Engineer Water to support the reliable and efficient performance of our Integrated Water Supply Scheme (IWSS).
About the Role
This role provides technical engineering support to the operation and maintenance of IWSS infrastructure. Youll contribute to maintaining system reliability supporting asset improvements and solving operational challenges as part of a collaborative operations environment.
Working with experienced engineers and operational teams youll help deliver safe efficient and compliant outcomes across the water conveyance network.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for the operation and maintenance of IWSS assets
- Assist in the delivery of asset management plans maintenance strategies and improvements
- Support investigation and resolution of operational and maintenance issues
- Contribute to planning scheduling and coordination of maintenance and shutdown activities
- Assist with technical input into projects contracts and contractor management
- Ensure compliance with safety regulatory and corporate requirements
- Contribute to documentation procedures and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
About You
- Degree in Engineering (civil mechanical or related discipline)
- Experience in water infrastructure operations or maintenance environments
- Sound understanding of engineering principles and asset management practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
