About the role:

This is a Casual role. The Warehouse Assistant/Forklift Operator assist in the preparation and dispatch of all orders at Rombola Family Farms.

Key accountabilities include:

• Ability to drive a forklift

• Stacking cartons/fruit up to 15kg when repacks are necessary.
• Assess quality of incoming fruit for storage.
• Undertake outgoing quality assessment of all orders prior to despatch.
• Assist in picking and labelling of orders.
• Understand and manage stock rotation and storage ensuring our customers receive high quality fresh produce daily.
• Understand and maintain food safety requirements.
• Ensure efficient operation of forklift.

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

• Current unencumbered Drivers Licence.
• Current unencumbered Forklift Licence.
• Ability to lift up to 15kg to meet role requirements.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude.
• Flexibility in hours worked to achieve operational targets ability to work weekends highly desirable.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• High Level of attention to detail.
