TheHatch Student Vacation Programprovides the opportunity to work on real projects and gain practical industry skills. We will help you through the transition bridging the gap between your education and career.

As part of the Urban Solutions team you will gain exposure to urban design planning placemaking economics and stakeholder engagement activities across a diverse range of projects. You will contribute to initiatives that promote socioeconomic and environmental sustainability through innovative planning design and policy solutions in both domestic and international alongside a multi-disciplinary team of urban planners designers placemakers and economists you will help create vibrant sustainable communities that enhance quality of life and deliver commercially successful outcomes for our clients. As part of Hatchs global Urban Solutions practice you will also gain exposure to expertise spanning urban design urban economics climate change transit-oriented development infrastructure delivery and mobility.

You bring to the role:

You will be working towards a bachelors or masters degree in Urban Design Architecture Urban and Regional Planning Landscape Architecture Property Economics or a related built environment discipline with a strong academic record. Candidates will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and will be collaborative problem-solvers with the ability to think laterally analytically and innovatively. You will also have an interest in exploring a future with a global consulting company and be committed to creating positive change.
