Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a Transport Planner to join our national Transport Planning team and assist in the delivery of transport planning projects and analysis.

This role will be based in our Brisbane or Sydney office yet you will play a pivotal part in our national Mobility Advisory unit. Our transport planning team operates in a supportive leadership environment. We provide hybrid working policy and flexible working hours.

Role accountabilities:

The objectives of the role are to:

  • Contribute to transport planning projects including active transport public transport and multimodal strategies plans studies and options assessment
  • Support the delivery of multimodal network and infrastructureplanning for corridors interchanges and precincts
  • Prepare high-quality reports and presentations that clearly communicate analysis and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
  • Contribute to traffic engineering assessments including intersection operation road safety local area traffic management and traffic impact assessments
  • Support the preparation of transport proposals
  • Actively learn and develop skillsets associated with the role.
Qualification & Experience:

Youwill have:

  • Demonstrated experience in transport planning and/ or precinct development
  • Sound knowledge of traffic engineering principles
  • Sound working knowledge of excel SIDRA experience advantageous
  • Excellent written communication
  • Excellent verbal communication and relationship building skills
  • A drive to learn and develop your transport planning and analysis skills through training and project support experience
  • 2 years relevant experience
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering planning or a related field
