About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Transmission Lines Superintendent to join our Projects & Infrastructure team in a permanent full-time capacity. While this is an ongoing role within Zinfra the successful candidate will initially play a key leadership role on the CopperString 2032 (C2C) Project one of Australias most significant transmission infrastructure developments.

Operating in a complex construction environment you will be responsible for the supervision and coordination of personnel plant equipment and materials to ensure tower construction activities are delivered safely efficiently and in accordance with project specifications and company expectations. Working closely with project leadership crews and subcontractors you will drive productivity quality and safety outcomes while maintaining strong operational discipline across multiple work fronts.

  • Lead and supervise tower assembly and erection activities ensuring works are delivered safely efficiently and to specification.
  • Coordinate field resources plant equipment and materials to optimise productivity and maintain project schedules.
  • Provide leadership and direction to crews subcontractors and supervisors fostering a culture of accountability and safe execution.
  • Monitor construction progress quality and commercial performance identifying and resolving delivery risks and issues.
  • Partner with the Construction Manager and wider project team to achieve project objectives across safety quality cost and time.

About You

You are an experienced transmission construction leader who thrives in a hands-on operational environment. You are practical accountable and calm under pressure with the ability to make sound decisions solve problems in the field and lead teams through demanding project conditions. You bring strong technical capability a commitment to safety and a collaborative approach to achieving outcomes.

  • Proven experience supervising transmission line construction projects with a strong focus on tower assembly and erection works.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead field crews and subcontractors while managing safety productivity quality and delivery outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies permit requirements risk management processes and safe systems of work.
  • Trade qualification or relevant industry background supported by a current Australian Drivers Licence.
  • A resilient and accountable leader who challenges constructively works through complexity and takes ownership of results.
