Trades Assistant

Synergie is seeking Trades assitant for a leading waste management companylocated in Kemps Creek. Tenure is 3 months (could extend)

Tenure: Ongoing for the right candidate

Days & Hours: 5 days 8 hours. Possible more hours if needed

Pay rate: $35.40 PH

Duties:

• Assist mechanics and technicians with maintenance servicing and repairs of earthmoving equipment (e.g. excavators bulldozers dump trucks).
• Clean and prepare parts and equipment for repairs or inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop and tools.
• Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
• Perform routine workshop tasks such as fluid top-ups filter changes machine fuelling and greasing.
• Support stock control by receiving storing and retrieving parts and tools.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
• Complete basic documentation and reporting as required

Essential Licence or Qualifications:

• Car licence
• Forklift (desirable)
• Construction White Card (desirable)

Desirable Experience:

• Previous experience in a mechanical or workshop environment preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong work ethic punctuality and a positive attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual Labor.
