About the Opportunity

Join our passionate Community Services team in Sunshine as a Full Time Therapeutic Family Violence Practitioner and make a genuine difference in the lives of those who are healing from their experiences of Family Violence. Youll provide expert therapeutic support to Children Young People Women and their families affected by family violence helping them build resilience and create safer futures.

What Youll Do

  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to Children Young People and Women to recover from the effects of Family Violence.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop safety plans
  • Provide individual group and family counselling sessions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external service providers
  • Maintain accurate case documentation and reports
  • Support clients in accessing community resources and services
