Technical Support Specialist
Job Summary
We have an exciting full-time opportunity for a Technical Support Specialist to join our team based in Wetherill Park NSW!
You will support the development and delivery of technical information training resources and support products used by Roadside Assistance patrols and technical teams across Australia.
This unique role combines automotive expertise with technical research content development knowledge management and stakeholder engagement. Youll contribute to the creation of practical technical solutions that improve roadside diagnosis repairs and service delivery while supporting national projects and innovation initiatives.
What Youll Do
- Research and develop technical solutions that support roadside repairs.
- Create practical technical guides bulletins and support resources.
- Review proof and publish technical information to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Produce engaging video content and training materials.
- Share technical advice and respond to specialist enquiries.
- Help build and improve training programs for patrol teams.
- Contribute to national projects trials and industry research.
- Identify new tools technologies and innovations that improve outcomes.
- Work closely with stakeholders across Australia.
What Youll Bring
- Trade qualified Motor Mechanic or Automotive Electrician
- Current Driver Licence.
- Experience researching technical information and developing technical documentation or articles.
- Intermediate Microsoft 365 and Teams skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work autonomously.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritise competing tasks.
- A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
Desirable
- Previous Roadside Assistance experience.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent experience.
- Experience developing training programs and learning materials.
- Extensive automotive industry experience.
- Demonstrated customer service experience and strong professional ethics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in video production and content creation.
