Technical Manager, GitHub Platform Uplift

Your Opportunity

Were looking for a Technical Manager - GitHub Platform Uplift to lead the delivery of our GitHub Enterprise roadmap while remaining hands-on with platform engineering DevSecOps and CI/CD capabilities. This role combines delivery leadership with technical execution offering the opportunity to influence engineering standards and platform capabilities across the organisation. 

Youll also make an impact by:

• Leading the GitHub platform uplift roadmap managing stakeholders risks dependencies and delivery outcomes across engineering cloud cyber and identity teams. 
• Driving GitHub Enterprise administration migration activities and adoption across engineering teams. 
• Enhancing DevSecOps and CI/CD capabilities through secure automation governance and operational readiness practices.

Qualifications :

What Youll Bring

To succeed in this role youll have:

• Extensive platform engineering experience within enterprise or regulated environments.
• Strong experience administering GitHub Enterprise including repository governance access controls and security features.
• Experience delivering GitHub migrations onboarding programs or large-scale platform adoption initiatives.
• Strong CI/CD engineering expertise with GitHub Actions automation and secure delivery practices.
• Practical DevSecOps knowledge spanning code security secrets management container security and policy enforcement.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to drive outcomes across multiple teams. 

Youll stand out from the crowd if you have:

• Experience with GitHub Enterprise Managed Users SAML SSO or SCIM provisioning.
• Exposure to Kubernetes GitOps tooling and cloud-native platform engineering.
• Knowledge of PCI-DSS APRA CPS 234 or broader financial services regulatory environments.
• GitHub AWS or Kubernetes certifications.
