In this full-time maximum term role until end June 2028 youll lead our SHIELD and Victim Connect teams to help us create lasting change for children everywhere. Youll work remotely from home when not delivering programs or attending meetings with access to a shared office.

You will make a difference by:

• Leading a busy dedicated team delivering specialist counselling and support services to people impacted by violence and trauma
• Ensuring high-quality client-led and trauma-informed practice that empowers clients on their recovery journey.
• Maintaining strong sector partnerships and community networks to maximise support and advocacy for victims.
• Supporting innovation practice excellence and programs that promote safety accountability and positive change when working with men.

This role requires:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology Social Work Counselling Human Services or a related discipline.
• A genuine passion to support and manage a high-performing team to meet and exceed objectives and achieve positive outcomes for children and young people.
• Proven experience working with victims of violent crime domestic and family violence and vulnerable communities using trauma-informed and strength-based approaches
• Strong understanding of culturally responsive practice risk assessment stakeholder engagement and working with men at different stages of their healing journey
