Job Summary

  • Part Time Position (60.8 fortnightly hours)
  • Fixed Term Contract until 30 June 2027
  • $116003.00 per annum Super Salary Packaging*(toincreaseyour take home pay)
  • Located in Adelaide with regular travel to alternative RASA sites

We are looking for an experienced RASA employee with strong leadership clinical supervision and service coordination skills who is passionate about improving mental health and wellbeing outcomes for older people in residential aged care. The successful candidate will be confident leading a multidisciplinary team managing change and working collaboratively with RACF staff and RASA teams to deliver integrated equitable and high-quality services.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • One of the following:
    • A tertiary qualification (AQF level 7) in Social Work and registration as a Mental Health Accredited Social Worker with AASW; or
    • A tertiary qualification (AQF level 7) in Psychology and General registration as a Psychologist with APHRA; or
    • A relevant qualification in Nursing and registration as a Mental Health Nurse with APHRA; or
    • A tertiary qualification (AQF level 7) in Occupational Therapy registration as a Mental Health Occupational Therapist with APHRA and endorsement by Better Access or
    • A diploma (AQF level 5) in counselling or related field and demonstrated practice and leadership experience commensurate with the role
  • Experience in people leadership and clinical supervision of staff.
  • Experience in working with vulnerable clients with mental health issues.

It would be a bonus if you have:

  • Experience in working in residential aged care or a health service environment

What you will be doing

  • Lead and support the SEW team providing clinical and operational supervision professional development and people leadership.
  • Lead the planning delivery and evaluation of the SEW Program in collaboration with the Manager Service Integration.
  • Coordinate service delivery including referrals risk screening case planning and the delivery of individual and group mental health services.
  • Build strong partnerships with RACFs and RASA teams to support integrated coordinated and culturally safe services for residents.
  • Monitor program performance and compliance including data management reporting funder requirements and continuous improvement of service quality.
