Position Summary

Due to continued growth across Australia and New Zealand we are excited to introduce a newly created Systems Integration Lead position. Based in either Sydney or Melbourne this is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in expanding our digital healthcare capabilities and shaping how advanced software solutions are integrated into some of Australias leading hospitals.

This role is ideal for a technically strong IT systems professional who enjoys solving complex challenges collaborating with healthcare stakeholders and leading high-impact technology implementations that directly contribute to better patient care.

As our Systems Integration Lead you will serve as the technical authority for the deployment integration and optimisation of STERIS healthcare software platforms within complex hospital enterprise environments.

You will lead the implementation of cutting-edge solutions including HexaVue Connect Connect Assure Medical Tracking operating room technologies video conferencing and streaming platforms ensuring seamless integration into hospital systems cybersecurity frameworks and clinical workflows.

Working closely with hospital staff their IT teams clinical stakeholders and internal partners you will drive successful software deployments provide advanced technical support lead integration projects and mentor a growing team of Systems Integration Specialists.

What You Will Do
  • Integrates the most advanced software and IT solutions for hospital enterprise network environments.
  • Configures installs monitor and support multiple Customer facilities across ANZ that are using STERIS Enterprise Software products and Medical Equipment.
  • Ability to understand and modifies software scripts and other code to enable deployment of enterprise-wide software products.
  • Deploys and consults on IT security (Cyber-Security) standards for ANZ customers in development and deployment at their facilities
  • Provides advanced knowledge and experience in hospital-specific IT environments to guide Customers on deployment of software compliant with HIPAA EMRs HL7 PACS and VNAs.
  • Resolves Tier 2 (Advanced) support and IT issues.
  • Manages full software integration projects with Customer internal and external partners.
  • Directs onsite training for technical and clinical staff members.
  • Develops and maintains software implementation and support documentation.
  • Tests and evaluates new STERIS software and features.
  • Consults with Customers on selection of hardware and software products.
  • Provide first line and advanced application support via phone and e-mail including troubleshooting support issues and assisting customers
  • Working directly with Customers and internal team members collects analyzes and summarizes software bugs development issues and service issues.
  • Mentor and train Software Integration Specialists.
  • Work closely with hospital IT to set up and support VPN connections
  • Work closely with hospital IT to set up and support hospital video conference and streaming deployments
  • Proactively become an expert user of the STERIS information management products so that he/she can provide excellent support to customers
  • Improve operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures.
  • Assemble install and configure computers networks and indoor location systems in hospitals if required.
The Experience Skills and Abilities Needed

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems Computer Science Software Engineering IT or related field.
  • Experience in technical support systems administration or complex AV/IT solutions.
  • Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP packet analysis); CCNA CCENT or Network preferred.
  • Experience supporting Windows and Linux server environments.
  • Hands-on experience with computer hardware software network and peripheral device configuration.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting systems support and customer-facing technical support.
  • Knowledge of IP-based video conferencing streaming technologies and IT deployments.
  • Experience with SQL databases cybersecurity and web technologies.

Preferred:

  • Healthcare IT experience including EMR medical imaging operating room workflows and regulatory compliance (HIPAA/TGA) is highly desirable.

Others:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Customer-focused proactive problem solver with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Project management experience and healthcare industry knowledge are advantageous.
