Structural Manager

The Opportunity

An opportunity exists for an experienced Structural Engineer to lead and grow a structural engineering team in Brisbane. This role combines technical leadership project delivery and business development with responsibility for building a strong team and maintaining client relationships across a diverse range of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mentor and develop a team of structural engineers and designers.

• Oversee the delivery of structural engineering projects from concept through to completion.

• Manage project budgets resourcing schedules and technical quality.

• Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities.

• Provide technical guidance and review structural designs calculations and documentation.

• Work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines to deliver coordinated project outcomes.

• Contribute to the growth of the Brisbane office including training and team development.

• Ensure projects comply with relevant Australian Standards building codes and industry requirements.

About You

• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.

• Extensive experience in structural engineering consultancy ideally with leadership experience.

• Strong technical knowledge of structural design and Australian Standards.

• Proven ability to lead mentor and develop engineering teams.

• Experience managing projects budgets and client relationships.

• Commercially minded with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
