What youll do

As a Structural Engineer in our Buildings team based in Brisbane youll contribute to a diverse portfolio of multidisciplinary projects across aviation sports and stadia transport infrastructure tertiary health and defence as well as our established pipeline of BNE32 projects and Olympics-related opportunities.

Youll join a close collaborative and technically strong team that supports one another and combines local connection with the backing of Aurecons Global reach and expertise.

  • Develop practical structural solutions and undertake engineering analysis and design for building projects

  • Lead packages of work coordinating technical inputs priorities and delivery

  • Work directly with clients and provide clear high-quality advice throughout project delivery

  • Collaborate with architects builders and multidisciplinary teams across Aurecon to explore integrated solutions with our partners and clients on projects that support the future of the Built Environment.

  • Contribute to technical excellence and have a future focused approach to technology and ways of working.

What youll bring

  • A relevant civil or structural engineering qualification and structural engineering experience ideally in building structures

  • Around five years relevant experience as a guide while welcoming candidates slightly either side

  • The ability to develop practical structural solutions and work confidently through engineering analysis

  • Strong client communication collaboration leadership organisation and time-management skills
