KICK is looking for a Streaming Operations Specialist to power our biggest moments and support our top creators.

This role sits at the intersection of broadcast operations video engineering and live event delivery at global scale. Operating as KICKs video subject matter expert across acquisition pipeline and live events with the autonomy to design build and shape the systems that keep the platform running with real influence over how it evolves.

Your role with us:
Lead end-to-end readiness for KICKs largest events configure and troubleshoot the video delivery pipeline and maintain video services to improve our creators and audiences experience. Working closely with engineering teams to drive pipeline observability and own resolution of complex playback issues across CTV mobile and web. This role calls for broadcast depth and engineering capability in equal measure.

• Ownend-to-endeventreadiness-planningtestingandvalidatinglivestreamingworkflowsfromacquisitiontodelivery.
• ServeastheSMEforvideoacquisitionincludingIP-basedtransportprotocols(SRTRTMP)andalternativeservicessuchassatellitewhenrequired.
• Maintaindocumentationofstreaminginfrastructureconnectivitypathsanddependencies.
• Trackandreportoperationalmetrics(audiencesizestreamperformanceplatformhealth)tosupportpost-eventanalysisandcontinuousimprovement.
• Auditbroadcastandinternetconnectivityinfrastructure.
• Providetechnicalguidancetoengineeringteamsbuildingapplicationstoolsandviewerservices.
• Designandmaintaininternaltoolsanddashboardstomonitorvideopipelineperformanceacrossefficiencycostandreliability.
• DebugandresolvecomplexplaybackissuesacrossCTVmobileandwebcollaboratingwithengineeringoncriticaldeliveryincidents.
• ApplyexpertiseinFFmpegandAWStoimproveencodingpackaginganddeliveryworkflows.
