The opportunity

Werepartnering with our SME business to appoint aStrategy & PerformanceLead reporting to the Head of Strategy & Performance. This is a high-visibility role acting as a critical extension of the function and supporting the development and delivery of the SME strategy.

Your new role

• Support the development and ongoing refinement of SME strategy including customer value propositions and long-term roadmap

• Track and oversee strategic initiatives ensuring clear prioritiesownershipand delivery discipline

• Analyse portfolio performanceidentifyingtrends risks and opportunities and translating insights into action

• Support quarterlyprioritisationand governance forumsmaintaininga clear pipeline of initiatives

• Partner with Customer Insights to embed a voice of customer approach into decision making

• Assess growth opportunities across segmentsproductsand distribution channels

• Prepare executive-level materials including performance reporting strategyupdatesand decision papers

About you

• Experience in strategyconsultingor performance roles ideally within insurance or financial services

• Strong commercial acumen with understanding of portfolio performance drivers (commercial lines experience highly regarded)

• Ability to work with ambiguity break down complex problems anddeterminea clear course of action

• Confident in interpreting data and insights (from finance underwritingcustomeror market sources) to form practical recommendations

• Strong communicationskills with the ability to influence challenge and tell a clear story

• Comfortable engaging across stakeholders to test ideas gather insights and shape solutions

• Structured approach to governanceprioritisationand performance tracking

• Proactivecuriousand able tooperatewitha high levelof autonomy
