Our Water for the Environment team is currently seeking to appoint a STL Environmental W&F to lead operational team to ensure quality performance and outputs in wetland and river conservation via environmental water management planning community engagement and related tasks to meet NSW commitments.
The role will be focussed on delivering environmental water outcomes for the Lachlan Macquarie Snowy / Montane and the Hunter / coastal rivers. You will be managing a small team with responsibility for planning flow events consulting with stakeholders and working with partner agencies on delivery.
About You
- Knowledge of the operational and strategic requirements for the successful delivery of environmental water programs in the context of current policy and legislative frameworks.
- Experience developing implementing and monitoring strategic and operational plans for the delivery of complex programs with a demonstrated track record of providing direction and achieving results through multidisciplinary and geographically dispersed teams.
Essential Requirements
- A degree in Science or in a relevant natural resource discipline.
