Mediix Recruitment is partnering with a warm family-focused paediatric practice in Perth looking to welcome another Speech Pathologist to their clinical team. The practice has a strong reputation among local paediatricians GPs and schools and offers the kind of setting where clinicians can do genuinely good work without the pressure of a corporate-scale caseload.

About the role

Youll work primarily with children from early intervention through to upper primary with scope to take on adolescent clients depending on your interests. The referral base is broad early language delay ASD DLD articulation and phonology fluency AAC and school-age literacy and social communication.

Day to day you will:

• Complete comprehensive paediatric assessments and formulate clinical impressions
• Develop individualised family-centred therapy plans grounded in current evidence
• Deliver 1:1 sessions in clinic with community and school visits where appropriate
• Partner with parents and carers through coaching and home-programming
• Liaise with paediatricians teachers OTs and psychologists involved in shared care
• Complete NDIS reporting progress reviews and clinical documentation

About you

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Speech Pathology
• Speech Pathology Australia (CPSP) eligible or certified
• Genuine interest in working with children and their families
• New graduates with strong paediatric placement experience are warmly encouraged to apply
• Confident with family coaching and parent-mediated approaches
• Strong clinical documentation and interpersonal skills
• Current WA drivers licence and reliable vehicle
• WWCC and NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain)
