Job Summary
EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST Grade: Clerk Grade 5/6 ($102936-$113579) Superannuation Leave Loading Closing Date: Tuesday 11th August@ 9.59am The Emergency Information Coordination Unit (EICU) is a Supporting Agency under the State Emergency Management Plan (EMPLAN) as a single coordination point for spatial data and intelligence across the NSW emergency management sector. This includes being the lead agency to ensure that the emergency management sector has the most reliable informed and up-to-date intelligence to deal with all phases of emergencies and major events facilitating situational awareness and informed decision-making through coordination of geospatial data and intelligence. Further information about the EICU: As a Spatial Analyst you will utilise specialist spatial knowledge and skills to undertake various activities related to sourcing quality assurance maintenance and delivery of Spatial Services Foundation Spatial Data including cadastral topographic addressing surveying imagery elevation and water. The role utilises specialist spatial knowledge and skills to undertake various activities related to sourcing quality assurance maintenance delivery and operational utilisation of the EICUs Spatial Services Emergency Services Spatial Information Library (ESSIL) and Foundation Spatial Data. The role also provides spatial support for emergency preparation planning and recovery. Spatial Services a division of the Department of Customer Service is the key provider of spatial land information services in New South Wales. Spatial Services integrated framework connects the people of NSW to a comprehensive package of land and property services including property information surveying and mapping. Spatial Services provides land information services to individuals businesses government agencies and non-profit organisations throughout NSW Australia and internationally.
