Job Summary
As a Solutions Engineer youll work closely with our Sales Product Network and Delivery teams to design and validate customer solutions across connectivity voice and cloud infrastructure services.
Youll act as a trusted advisor to our wholesale customers helping them navigate technical challenges while ensuring solutions are commercially viable scalable and aligned to their business objectives.

As a Solutions Engineer youll put our values up in lights by:
- Becoming a subject matter expert across Symbios platform network and product capabilities.
- Designing and validating solutions across internet carriage services including NBN Ethernet Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) data center connectivity and voice products.
- Partnering with our Sales team and wholesale customers to understand requirements and develop high-quality solution designs proposals presentations and technical documentation.
- Identifying customer needs and recommending the products and services that will help their businesses grow.
- Representing Symbio in strategic customer engagements workshops and industry events.
- Conducting technical research solution modelling proof-of-concepts and deployment planning activities.
- Collaborating with Product Network and Delivery teams to ensure solutions are technically feasible supportable and commercially aligned.
- Identifying risks and solution gaps early in the pre-sales lifecycle and ensuring smooth handovers to delivery and provisioning teams.
- Building trusted relationships with customers through technical expertise responsiveness and a customer-first mindset.

- Experience in a Solutions Engineer Pre-Sales Engineer Network Engineer Voice Engineer or similar technical customer-facing role.
- Strong knowledge of telecommunications networking or IT infrastructure environments.
- Solid understanding of IP networking fundamentals internet services private WAN technologies Ethernet services and data centre connectivity.
- Experience designing customer solutions and translating technical concepts into business outcomes.
- Excellent communication presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong organisational and time management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Relevant qualifications and/or practical experience in networking telecommunications voice engineering or related technologies.
