As we continue to grow were expanding our NBN Projects Team to help deliver critical fibre upgrades that connect communities across youre organised proactive and thrive in fast-paced project environments wed love to hear from Role:As a Yardman in our team you will play a key role in keeping daily operations running smoothly by managing materials equipment and yard organisation. You will support project teams by ensuring plant and resources are prepared maintained and readily available when in a fast-paced environment this role requires strong attention to safety teamwork and the ability to take youll be responsible for:Maintain a clean organised and safe yard environment including clear accessways and safe traffic flowLoad unload receive check and store materials plant and equipment efficientlyPrepare and stage materials and equipment for upcoming projectsConduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of tools plant and equipment reporting faults as requiredOperate forklifts loaders or other machinery (where licensed) in a safe and compliant mannerManage stock levels and assist with inventory control processesEnsure all equipment and materials are stored securely when not in useSupport tradespeople operators and subcontractors with general yard and labouring dutiesDirect and assist delivery drivers and subcontractors within the yardComply with all workplace health and safety (WHS) policies and proceduresWork both independently and collaboratively to meet daily operational requirementsAbout You:Youre organised hands-on and calm under pressure with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy yard environment.
