About the clinic
Our client is a well-loved therapist-owned paediatric allied health clinic supporting neurodivergent children and their families. Their speech pathology and psychology streams are humming and theyre now investing seriously in growing their OT discipline with the right senior OT at the centre of it.
Theyre small enough that your voice genuinely matters and mature enough that youll walk into structure admin support and a purpose-built sensory gym on day one.
About the role
Youll help shape how OT lives inside the clinic from referral pathways and group program design to how OT FCAs and therapy are introduced to families already engaged with the speech and psych teams. You wont be doing this alone. Youll work closely with the Clinic Director and have external supervision from a senior OT calibrated to your level and goals.
By year two as the caseload grows youll begin supervising junior OTs and have an increasing say in how the team is built.
A picture of what a week might look like:
- Monday: two individual therapy sessions a family consultation team lunch a cross-disciplinary case chat with one of the speechies two afternoon sessions.
- Wednesday: an assessment report writing team lunch an hour planning FCA delivery within the clinic two afternoon sessions.
The mix will shift as the discipline matures and thats the point.

- $110k$130k package (inclusive) negotiable based on experience and what you bring
- $1500 PD budget plus dedicated internal PD time each month

About you
- AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist
- 3 years experience ideally with paediatric and neurodivergent caseloads
- Passionate about family-centred affirming practice
- Collaborative curious and quietly excited by the idea of helping shape something
- Comfortable working in an emerging discipline you create structure rather than wait for it
- Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
