In this dynamic and rewarding role youll enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to structure your day while making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals recovering from workplace injury or illness. Youll guide clients through their rehabilitation journey supporting their return to health work and everyday life. This includes delivering tailored occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of physical and psychological conditions and helping them achieve sustainable recovery and return-to-work outcomes.
Some of your day to day includes:
- Case management (caseloads are manageable and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks);
- Partnering with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs and assist those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes;
- Working collaboratively with injured workers employers medical and allied health professionals across various schemes such as workers compensation compulsory third party life insurance Comcare Department of Veterans Affairs and employer-funded injury prevention programs;
- Mentor and coach consultants to support their achievement of service delivery customer service and case activity expectations. You will have also have opportunity to gain exposure to Student Placement supports.

Qualifications :
Youll be a driven and energetic professional with hopefully all of the qualities below!
- Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy Occupational Therapy Exercise Physiology Social Work rehabilitation Counselling or Psychology
- Full Professional Registration/Accreditation/Membership with AHPRA ESSA AASW or ASORC
- 2 years experience within Occupational Rehabilitation industry
- Fabulous communication skills - there is a lot of getting to know your clients and stakeholders!;
- Compassion and kindness always go a long way as does empathy;
- Its the kind of career where well developed time management skills are a must & plus!;
- A current valid Drivers License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is a must.
