Job Summary

Urgent requirement of Senior Network Engineer (Network Security) - Contract - Sydney

Requirements

Technical skills:

Strong hands-on and recent experience to firewalls (Juniper SRX Fortinet VMWARE NSX) with firewall analysis experience

Able to do low-level design of enterprise security architecture.

Enterprise Switching and Routing configuration experience (BGP/OSPF VXLAN VTP BFD) IPS/IDS policy configuration implementation and events analysis.

Exposure and working knowledge of a logging platform like Elastic Splunk etc.

Exposure to monitoring tools like Netscout Solarwinds Thousand-eyes Accedian etc. Automation and scripting skills (Python JSON Ansible etc).

General Skills:

Strong presentation and communication skills.

Able to demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement converting business requirements into technical requirements. Self-motivated and self-driven Collaboration and teamwork

Ability to handle pressure situations at work and prioritise delivery with multiple teams.

Ability to view existing processes standards and compliance requirements and work on fine-tuning and improvements.

Duration: 06 Months and possible extension
