Whats the role
This role is a Parental Leave Cover Role for a 12-month period.
Youll join Westpacs Group Third Party Risk team and help protect the bank our customers and our communities by strengthening the way we manage risk across our service provider relationships. This is a role with real reach sitting across third party risk operational resilience policy controls governance and senior level reporting.
As Senior Manager youll bring a strong Line 2 risk lens to the work. Youll provide advice review and challenge interpret regulatory expectations support APRA focused prudential obligations and help shape clear insights for senior leaders. Youll work across a broad risk landscape that may include technology cyber data AI operational resilience financial crime modern slavery environmental and social risk and broader supply chain risk.
This is a full-time role with standard working hours and a hybrid working model of three days per week in the office. The preferred location is Sydney with Melbourne or Adelaide also considered.
What do I need
Experience in third party risk service provider risk operational risk technology risk cyber risk AI risk audit Line 1 risk or another related non-financial risk discipline.
Strong Line 2 advisory experience including the ability to provide independent review challenge and guidance.
A strong risk mindset with the confidence to identify risks assess controls and influence better outcomes.
Exposure to regulatory or prudential requirements ideally APRA focused operational resilience requirements such as CPS 230 CPS 234.
Clear confident communication skills with the ability to turn complex risk information into practical insights for senior stakeholders.
