About the opportunity
Join Bolton Clarke in a newly created role supporting the organisations public advocacy government relations and policy agenda. Youll work closely with senior leaders to monitor policy and regulatory change develop high-quality advocacy materials coordinate external engagement and help position Bolton Clarke as a trusted voice across aged care healthcare and social services.
Key activities
- Support public policy advocacy and external relations strategies aligned to organisational priorities.
- Monitor political regulatory and sector developments impacting aged care healthcare and social services.
- Prepare submissions briefing notes position papers consultation responses and advocacy materials.
- Build and maintain relationships with government regulators industry bodies and key external stakeholders.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement meetings briefs and follow-up actions with senior leaders.
- Support evidence-based policy development through research analysis and internal consultation.
About you
A strategic and politically astute policy government relations or public affairs professional with strong judgement exceptional writing capability and the confidence to engage senior leaders and external stakeholders. You bring a strong understanding of policy processes reform environments and regulated sectors ideally within health aged care or community services.

- Senior experience in policy government relations public affairs advocacy or stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare high-quality submissions briefing papers and policy analysis.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills across government regulators industry and internal leadership groups.
- Sound understanding of policy legislative and regulatory environments affecting complex service organisations.
- Strong research communication influence and judgement skills with resilience in a fast-moving environment.
- Tertiary qualifications in public policy political science law economics communications business or a related field.
