Our Corporate Affairs team is currently seeking to appoint a Senior Engagement Advisor to support department-wide stakeholder engagement. The role provides strategic advice and drives initiatives that improve how engagement is planned coordinated and delivered across the Department.
The Senior Engagement Advisor provides stakeholder engagement expertise across DCCEEW. You will develop engagement strategies frameworks and tools provide advice on complex programs and support initiatives that improve the consistency and effectiveness of engagement across the Department.
Youll help deliver meaningful engagement outcomes by working with stakeholders across government to improve engagement practices coordinate engagement networks and embed best practice approaches through guidance and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
You have experience developing and delivering stakeholder engagement communications or business improvement strategies within a complex organisation and can translate strategic priorities into practical frameworks tools systems and approaches that deliver better outcomes. You understand how to plan and implement engagement activities coordinate programs across multiple teams and business areas and build organisational capability through practical tools guidance and advice. You are skilled at identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and driving initiatives that enhance the consistency visibility and effectiveness of engagement across an organisation.
You build strong relationships communicate confidently with diverse stakeholders and can navigate competing priorities and sensitive issues. Youre collaborative solutions-focused and organised with the ability to bring people together influence outcomes manage projects effectively and deliver quality results.
Knowledge and experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in developing and implementing business improvement strategies
- Experience in developing and implementing strategies with a focus on communications and stakeholder engagement.
Essential requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in communications stakeholder engagement or relevant discipline and/or equivalent relevant industry experience.
- Current NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel as required.
