We are seeking an accomplished and passionate Environment Health & Safety professional with a strong commitment to excellence ready to step into a highly rewarding and impactful role. Join our team as the Senior EHS & Rail Safety Advisor based at the Dandenong site VIC on the Velocity Xtrapolis 2.0 and NGT projects where you will play a pivotal role in fostering a safe and thriving workplace.
Well look to you for:
- Supporting the project leadership team in creating and driving a safety first culture
- Assisting in the delivery and review of EHS & Rail Safety management plans
- Conducting incident investigations and audits
- Managing project EHS documentation and compliance
- Preparing statistical reporting for internal and external stakeholders
All about you:
- Cert IV or Diploma in Workplace Health & Safety
- Significant experience in a similar role ideally within Rail Construction Heavy Industry or other high-risk environments
- Strong knowledge of safe work systems legislation standards and codes
- Expertise in risk-based processes safety management systems and project delivery
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong communication presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
- Initiative drive resilience and the ability to navigate complex issues
