About the role

The Senior Data Governance Analyst plays a pivotal role in ensuring the departments information assets are wellmanaged safely shared and strategically leveraged. You will lead initiatives that strengthen governance arrangements uplift data capability and embed robust privacy and informationmanagement practices across the organisation.

Working closely with the Chief Data Officer project delivery teams and a wide network of stakeholders you will design develop and implement frameworks policies and procedures that support effective data management and compliance with privacy legislation.

This role is handson collaborative and suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment balancing ongoing project work with BAU responsibilities. While not a peoplemanagement position you will influence guide and support subject matter experts Directors and Executive Directors to drive strong governance outcomes.

About you -

You are a proactive confident communicator who can work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment. You bring a strong customerservice mindset balancing BAU responsibilities with projectdriven work and youre comfortable engaging with a wide range of stakeholdersincluding Directors and Executive Directors.

You will excel in this role if you have:

  • Strong timemanagement skills to juggle concurrent BAU and project activities.
  • Excellent communication capability including the ability to translate governance concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Policy writing or governance experience with an understanding of compliance assurance and legislative requirements.
  • Initiative and autonomy in driving work forward while consulting and collaborating effectively.
  • A serviceoriented mindset that supports responsive highquality engagement across the department.
