Your New Role!

As the Senior Data and Reporting Analyst (HR Systems) you will play a key role in shaping how workforce data is leveraged across the University. Combining strong technical reporting expertise with hands-on system knowledge you will support workforce reporting data analysis and system testing within our HR systems ecosystem.

Working primarily within Workday and associated platforms you will lead the development of meaningful reports ensure data accuracy and integrity and coordinate testing activities to support system enhancements and releases. Your work will directly contribute to informed decision-making and an improved employee experience.

Collaborating across People and Culture and the broader University you will help drive the reliability effectiveness and continuous improvement of workforce systems reporting capabilities and business processesmaking a real impact on how the University operates and plans for the future.

This continuing full-time position (37.5 hours per week) attracts a remuneration of HEW Level 8 $114K $130K (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions. You will also benefit from Workday training and ongoing professional development.

What youll bring to the role:

  • Strong hands-on experience in workforce data HR systems and reporting environments supported by relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent expertise
  • Advanced technical capability in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI SQL) with experience building dashboards and data models
  • Proven ability to interpret business needs working closely with stakeholders to translate requests into practical data-driven solutions
  • Demonstrated expertise in data validation and troubleshooting with a keen eye for accuracy and resolving data discrepancies
  • Solid understanding of data governance quality and compliance with the ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • As a bonus (but not essential): experience developing reports within Workday or a similar HRIS including calculated fields and advanced reporting
