Senior Associate Environment & Planning

Our Environment & Planning practice group is recognised as oneof the leading teams in Australia and demand on our services hascreated an opportunity for a Senior Associate to join the Brisbaneteam reporting into JulieaneMateru and JacquelinePlant.

The Norton Rose Fulbright Environment & Planning team acts formajor corporate clients developers infrastructure providersindustry and government. You will be engaged in a mix oflitigation advice and transaction work focussed on planning lawissues. This may include planning approvals and appeals majorproject approvals planning agreements land acquisition adviceand due diligence.

To be considered for this role you will ideally have;

• A minimum of 5 years PQE gained within a reputable Environment & Planning practice
• Experience in the conduct of proceedings relating to planning matters including the Planning and Environment Court
• Strong time management & organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities simultaneously
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong drafting skills
• An interest in mentoring Associates Lawyers and Graduates
• Strong academic achievements
