Job Summary

Join TCorp NSWs sovereign investment manager and play a key role in supporting the operational integrity of one of Australias largest institutional investment portfolios. Working within our Fund Operations & Investment Control team youll partner with custodians auditors and investment professionals to oversee critical fund operations strengthen controls manage risk and drive continuous improvement across the investment lifecycle.

The Senior Analyst Fund Operations & Investment Control (FOIC) is a unique opportunity for an experienced investment operations professional to work across custody operations NAV and unit pricing financial accounting tax reporting and operational risk while contributing to strategic change initiatives that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our investment operations function.

Key Responsibilities

This role is primarily responsible for supporting fund operations activities including:

  • Monitor service and performance of the custodian.
  • Be a change advocate with a focus on continuous improvement of processes leveraging technology and service providers.
  • Manage and respond to internal stakeholder and client queries.
  • Engage influence and appropriately challenge stakeholders to resolve issues balance priorities and support informed decision-making within TCorps risk appetite.
  • Identify and escalate operational risks incidents and control issues and support the implementation of appropriate remediation actions.
  • Ensure the integrity accuracy and timeliness of operational data and reporting.
  • Contribute to a strong risk-aware and high-performance culture.
  • Support annual audit requirements.
  • Ensure outcomes are delivered on time and stakeholder expectations are managed.

About You

You will hold tertiary qualifications applicable to the finance industry (or demonstrated relevant experience) with a minimum of 10 years experience in the financial services industry and specifically in an investment operations function or audit function.

Developed stakeholder management skills from dealing with a range of subject matter experts from various fields and different levels of seniority is essential. Extensive knowledge across investment classes experience assessing operational risks and experience engaging with auditors custodians and other external service providers will be expected.
