In this role youll:
Work as part of a team helping to enable active transport outcomes across transport planning policy design development and infrastructure delivery. This role will see you support the integration of walking and cycling priorities into transport projects and by providing strategic advice and design inputs as well as contributing to policy integration and building strong partnerships across government councils and industry.
You will help lead and influence integrated active transport outcomes in a complex multi-stakeholder environment working closely with planning development policy and delivery teams to embed active transport priorities into decision-making.
This role offers the opportunity to take initiative work with a high degree of autonomy and contribute to meaningful projects that shape walking and cycling outcomes across NSW while being supported by a collaborative leadership team that is passionate about active transport.

About you
Your active transport transport planning infrastructure design or project delivery knowledge and expertise formed across transport infrastructure engineering urban planning government or related sectors will see you successfully contribute to integrated transport outcomes support investment prioritisation and embed walking and cycling requirements into planning and delivery activities.
Youre recognised as a proactive and collaborative professional with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills able to build trusted relationships influence outcomes provide strategic advice and apply technical guidance. You must be experienced in active transport planning design or delivery stakeholder coordination multi-modal integration and the application of planning tools standards or guidance with a focus on walking and cycling.
You enjoy working both independently and in a supportive team environment as well as being highly collaborative and motivated by the opportunity to work alongside people who are passionate about delivering better active transport outcomes.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Transport Planning Civil Engineering Economics Geography Environment Urban Planning Urban Design or equivalent professional experience will be highly regarded.
