This is an exciting opportunity for a Home Care Scheduler to join St Vincents @ Home based at our Community Care office in Arundel. Successful applicants will share a genuine desire to care and assist clients with a strong person-centred care focus whilst working along with other departments within the care services. It involves balancing client preferences clinical priorities staff availability travel efficiencies funding requirements and responding to same-day changes while maintaining service continuity.

This is a full-time position based at our Arundel Community Care Office with standard office hours from Monday to Friday. The role also includes participation in a rotating on-call roster approximately every five weeks which covers weekend support. A hybrid working arrangement is available allowing one day per week to be worked from home.
Things that work for us:
- Relevant experience in a similar role scheduling staff within a community/facility ensuring prompt and accurate services
- Experience with scheduling and attendance systems (Dynamics 365 Velrada Field Services App Kronos and Workday desirable)
- High level of customer service skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume environment
- Ability to prioritise competing demands make sound decisions under pressure and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
- Ability to manage unplanned absences and urgent schedule changes
- Work in accordance with individual care plans and organisational policies procedures and Care Partner guidance
- Work collaboratively with Care Partners Nursing Clients Support Workers and external providers to ensure safe and effective service delivery
- Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities
- National Police Certificate (within the last 6 months)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
- Certificate/Diploma Business Frontline Management or Scheduling desirable but not essential
