Whats on offer

Our Northern Region Construction team are now seeking a Safety Manager/ Senior Safety Advisor to support project/s in the Brisbane region.

You will be responsible for ensuring an effective safety culture by aligning our Living Safely ethos by driving compliance with WHS legislation. As a seasoned professional you will develop and continuously enhance the safety culture through the delivery of risk-based safety strategies and you will manage the safety system and report on periodic safety KPIs. You will manage and monitor corrective actions and liaise with regulatory agencies as required.

How youll connect to the role

  • Successful track record in safety leadership and demonstrated industry experienceas a safety professional in civil construction the resources sector or in a high-reliability organisation.
  • Proven leadership skills which will enable you to inspire and actively promote our Living Safely culture.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Safety legislation codes of practice and standards.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills coupled with the ability to take ownership and problem solving.
  • Tertiary qualification in OH&S.
  • A persistence to drive positive outcomes while fostering a culture of autonomy accountability and continuous improvement.
