The Position

As an HSEQ Advisor based in Brisbane or Perth you will play a critical role in supporting Delta FM and Foodbuy teams by providing specialist advice and hands-on support to the Safety Leader across health safety environment and quality. You will partner closely with the Safety Leader to implement Compass Groups HSEQ management systems at site level. Tihs role will be full time temporary and the successful applicant will be ready to start the application process now for a June 2026 start working through til end of September 2026.

In this role you will:

• Working for Compass Group directly based & work in either the Brisbane or Perth Compass Group Head Office Monday to Friday
• Remotely liasing with Internal and External Operations teamsclients and stakeholders
• Support the implementation of safety systems procedures and site-specific documentation
• Monitor compliance with legal and Compass Group HSEQ requirements
• Conduct risk assessments incident investigations and assurance activities
• Deliver safety training inductions and coaching across site teams
• Identify hazards drive corrective actions and implement improvement initiatives

The Person

You are a proactive safety professional with a passion for creating safe and compliant workplaces. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are confident influencing stakeholders at all levels.

The successful candidate will:

• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or higher)
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and safety systems
• Experience in risk management incident investigation and safety program delivery (desirable)
• The ability to build relationships and drive a positive safety culture
• Be able to access the Compass Group Brisbane Office or Perth Office
• Quiet environment to work from home some days of the week
