In this role youll:
Be working as part of a team delivering timely high quality road safety analyses data modelling information management data collections evaluation reporting and proactive identification of emerging crash and road safety trends. You will contribute to programs that support the NSW Road Safety Action Plan. This role will see you provide timely accurate research and analysis; undertake consultation with internal and external stakeholders; contribute to Safe Systems project and program development and implementation; prepare presentations and communicate findings; coordinate data collections; conduct spatial and data analysis; support policy development; and prepare evaluation and ministerial information giving you the opportunity to build deep technical expertise in road safety and enhance your capability in complex stakeholder engagement contemporary research methodologies and performance evaluation frameworks. You will contribute to new ways efficiencies service improvements and evidence based safety outcomes in a complex data driven environment requiring forward planning stakeholder engagement and navigation of competing priorities.
This position is based in Parramatta and has a 5 days per fortnight minimum office presence requirement.

About you
Your high quality analytical skills attention to detail stakeholder engagement capability understanding of Safe Systemsand experience in data analysis modelling and evaluation formed across data analytics research road safety transportplanning or similar evidence based professional environments will see you excel in analysing complex safety dataovercoming challenges such as emerging crash trend identification and bringing rigorous evaluation and reportingprocesses to lead to strong safety insights improved program development and better road safety outcomes for NSW.
Youre recognised as adept in acting with integrity communicating effectively delivering customer focused services thinking and solving problems demonstrating accountability and applying technology skilled at researching analysing preparing reports and communicating findings experienced in data analytics Safe Systems work stakeholder engagement and applying contemporary research methodologies.
You will possess appropriate tertiary qualifications or extensive demonstrated relevant equivalent professional experience in data analytics and safe systems. Demonstrated experience in spatial data analysis and the use of GIS softwareas well as experience analysing road safety and transport data is beneficial.
