Retail Manager

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and controlling the daily retail operations of the store to ensure efficient service and achievement of operational objectives.
• Determining product ranges stock levels and customer service standards based on sales performance seasonal demand and customer preferences.
• Selecting training rostering supervising and evaluating the performance of retail staff.
• Monitoring food products beverages packaging and other inventory levels and coordinating purchasing supplier orders and inventory control.
• Monitoring sales labour expenses stock costs wastage and other operating expenses against established budgets and financial targets.
• Overseeing point-of-sale operations cash handling banking daily reconciliations and the maintenance of stock and financial transaction records.
• Implementing pricing strategies product displays promotional activities and local marketing initiatives in accordance with business requirements.
• Ensuring attractive product presentation accurate product information and consistent customer service standards.
• Responding to customer enquiries feedback and complaints and implementing measures to improve customer satisfaction.
• Planning staffing and stock requirements for weekends public holidays seasonal periods and periods of high customer traffic.
• Establishing and implementing operational procedures to improve sales productivity stock control and service efficiency.
• Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety food safety hygiene and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Safeguarding cash stock equipment and other business assets through appropriate security and loss-prevention procedures.

Qualifications :

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of relevant full-time work experience in a similar retail management role
• At least a Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
