About the RoleWe are seeking a Refugee & Disability Employment Advocate to support people with disability from refugee backgrounds to achieve meaningful Refugee & Disability Employment Advocate is a frontline role within the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program supporting people with disabilities from refugee backgrounds to achieve sustainable employment. Working closely with the Operations Manager and a multidisciplinary team the Advocate delivers personalised employment support manages a caseload and helps participants prepare for secure and maintain role involves building strong relationships with employers identifying employment opportunities through labour market engagement job carving and reverse marketing while implementing the SSI Service Delivery Model to provide holistic participant-centred support. With a strong focus on achieving program outcomes and KPIs the Advocate collaborates with colleagues and employer partners to create inclusive employment pathways and improve workforce participation for refugees with Looking for People Who:The successful candidate will have a strong customer-focused approach excellent communication and relationship-building skills and demonstrated experience achieving KPIs while maintaining compliance. They will possess sound knowledge of the labour market strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload in a culturally sensitive and inclusive manner. A willingness to complete a Certificate IV in Employment Services is speaking is essential for this role to effectively support the target client group.
